Each
player is responsible for having pledge money collected
and turned into their team manager by April 12, 2008
Rules:
Each player will hit three
softballs off the tee. A hit ball
is measured after it comes to a complete stop.
The furthest ball hit will be recorded on the players pledge
form. ALL PLAYERS MUST BRING
THEIR PLEDGE FORMS WITH
THEM TO THE HIT-A-THON.
Pledge forms will be returned to the player after the longest hit is
recorded.
Purpose:
This fundraiser will directly
benefit girls playing on a FGSL softball team in the 2008 and 2009 season. Funds
will be divided evenly between our Gold Program and Recreational
Programs.
This years funds -
The league will be rebuilding the fields at Pleasant Grove with
this year’s fundraising.
Our girl’s will have two more much needed fantastic fields to
get down and dirty on.
Sponsors: Your
sponsors can pay per-foot-distance or a fixed amount for a single hit no
matter the distance. Make checks payable
to: “Foothill Girls Softball League” (FGSL).
Collecting Pledges:
After your longest hit is recorded you can start collecting your
pledges. Please submit your
pledges and pledge form to your team Manager NO LATER THAN APRIL
12th.
A pizza
party for the team in each age group that has the highest percentage
of participation of players raising $40 or more has been
generously donated by THE PIZZA FACTORY
in EDH.
If there is a tie, the team that has collected the most
pledge money will be rewarded the party.
