Foothill fall ball Program 

Registration is mid June to July.

The Fall Ball program is put on by NorCal Softball and leagues from all around the greater Sacramento area participate. Practices begin the first week of August and the season runs through end of October (mid November if we have weather cancellations).
FGSL will have 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14-16u teams. Due to limited field space in the fall, roster space is limited and returning Select players, All Star players, pitchers and catchers have priority. All registrants will be placed on a waitlist until teams are formed following evaluations. If we have more players than roster space, registration fees will be refunded in full.

What does each player need:

  • Helmet (USA Softball approved) 
  • Glove 
  • Fielding mask (8u and up required)
  • Bat (recommended) 
  • Cleats (recommended)

The league provides a jersey. Parents and teams may opt for coordinated pants, belt, socks, visors for additional costs.

Evaluations: July 8th & 9th at Buckeye Elementary Field 1 (no second evaluation date scheduled at this time)

Thursday, July 9th:

  •  8u - Registration at 5 pm | Evaluations at 5:30 pm - 6:30pm
  • 12u - Registration at 6 pm | Evaluations at 6:30pm - 8pm


Evaluations will be ran by the Fall Ball coaches(es) . Players will be placed on teams based on their evaluations and team needs (Pitchers and Catchers). Registration Closes 15 Minutes before evaluation start time. 


Fees: 
The Fall Ball fee is $250 per player. These fees will cover tournament entry fees, insurance, practice field rental and Fall Ball jersey.

Foothill Girls Softball League is excited to move forward with much-needed field renovations at Buckeye, and we’d love to keep it in the community if possible! ? We’re seeking bids for: ? Demo and replacement of concrete pads at all dugouts. ☂ Addition of shade structures for each dugout. ?Replacement of backstops and chain link fencing surrounding each field ?Removal and replacement of the concrete pad near the snack shack If you own, work for, or know of a company that may be interested in bidding on this project, we’d love to hear from you! ? Foothill Girls Softball League is excited to move forward with much-needed field renovations at Buckeye, and we’d love to keep it in the community if possible! 📄 We’re seeking bids for: 🚧 Demo and replacement of concrete pads at all dugouts. ☂ Addition of shade structures for each dugout. 🔗Replacement of backstops and chain link fencing surrounding each field 🚜Removal and replacement of the concrete pad near the snack shack If you own, work for, or know of a company that may be interested in bidding on this project, we’d love to hear from you! 👉 Please DM us with any questions or to get connected.
