Spring Recreation SOftball

Registration is September through December.

6U teams are assigned by school and geographically. 8U and above are assigned based on player evaluations in January. Every registrant gets placed on a team.


Practices start four weeks prior to Opening Ceremonies and first games. Teams will get 2 practices per week (one mid week and one weekend) starting in February. There are about 8 weeks of games (one midweek and one weekend) with a final tournament for 8u and up at the end of league play.


Here is a list of items that each player will need. The league provides a jersey.

What does each player need:

Helmet (USA Approved)

Glove

Fielding Mask (required)

Bat (recommended)

Cleats (recommended)

Pants/Belt/Socks (color determined by coach)


January 10 - Player evaluations at Buckeye Elementary. Check in at Snack Shack. Bring glove, bat, helmet, face mask and cleats

  • Last Name A - G | Check in at 8:30 am, Evaluations 9 am - 10 am
  • Last Name H - O | Check in at 9:30 am, Evaluations 10 am - 11 am
  • Last Name P - Z | Check in at 10:30 am, Evaluations 11 am - 12 pm
  • Pitching/Catching Evaluations at 12 pm
  • 10u Evaluations 
  • Last Name A - L | Check in at 11:30 am, Evaluations 12 - 1 pm
  • Last Name M - Z | Check in at 12:30 pm, Evaluations 1 - 2 pm
  • Pitching/Catching Evaluations at 2 pm
  • 12/14u Evaluations 
  • 12u Check in at 1:30 pm, Evaluations 2 pm - 3:30 pm
  • 14u Check in at 2 pm, Evaluations 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm (Depending if we have a team)
  • Pitching/Catching Evaluations at 3:30 pm
